Teen Proclaimation

All of our teens are learning the following proclaimation.
We will say it regularly to build community and hopefully it will become etched in the minds of our teens. Any thoughts?



I am here to honor God with my life.
I belong to God’s church and believe in its mission.
If I do not do my part, no one will

I am here to follow the way of Jesus.
I sacrifice my will and seek God’s will in prayer, study, and service.
The power of Christ changes lives, and it is changing me.

I will remember and not forget the story of God.
I honor the lives of the faithful before me and any who came after me by being a faithful disciple today.
I have a place in God’s story.

We are the church.
I am a follower.
I am a servant and minister of God.
My faith guides me, sustains me, and changes me forever.
There is nothing more important in my mind, heart or body than my mission to bring God honor.
May it ever be so, Amen!
